A joint effort of the Planning Commission, Department of Community Development, and Housing Choices Committee, A+ Homes focuses on creating homes that are attractive, affordably-priced, adaptable, aging-friendly, and accessible. Housing and Transportation Options for Southern Chester County (2014)

Chester County Planning Commission has completed a study of housing, transportation, and employment options and connections available to disadvantaged individuals and families in the Baltimore Pike corridor. The study focused on the Latino community and the low-income/fixed-income elderly, and identified a number of deficits in both housing and transportation options for these two groups. A series of implementation strategies forms the framework to address these deficits for the benefit of the low-income community and the study area as a whole. View Publication
