Each spring, Keep America Beautiful hosts the "Great American Cleanup" with organizations hosting events such as litter cleanups, tree plantings, restoring nature trails, and other impactful projects across the nation. This year is the Great American Cleanup's 25th anniversary, which will take place between March 20 and June 21.
In honor of the celebration, Keep Chester County Beautiful is hosting a Spring Giveaway to provide qualifying groups with safety vests and trash grabbers to use during their Great American Cleanup event(s).
How can your group qualify?
- Follow Keep Chester County Beautiful on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Host a clean-up event during the Great American Cleanup, and register your event on Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful's website (don't forget to select "Keep Chester Beautiful" as the local Affiliate for tracking purposes)
- Email sustainability@chesco.org with the following by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, April 2.
- a description of your group
- number of volunteers
- description of planned event, including date
- preferred phone number
- a photo of your group in action
- signed photo release
