Municipal Transportation Grants Guide

Identifying needed transportation improvements is one thing; turning those goals into reality can be challenging — especially with so many grant programs to navigate.
The Chester County Planning Commission has released a Municipal Transportation Grants Guide to provide municipalities with the knowledge and resources to apply for more grants, and to help move these projects from concept to implementation.
Through the guide, municipalities can plan how to move a project forward, prepare the information/materials needed, and most importantly, apply with a strong application!
The guide contains a rubric of programs and guidelines, highlighting information such as the administering agency or funding stream, application window, match requirements, how much funding is available, and eligible activities.
The guide also includes examples of how municipalities used various funding opportunities to advance their projects.
