Transportation Priority Projects

Chester County's Transportation Priority Projects brochure showcases a condensed list of projects representing the vision for Chester County's transportation system that would have great benefit on the quality of life in the county. Like the Transportation Improvement Inventory (TII), the Transportation Priority Project (TPP) brochure is updated biennially. A committee of stakeholders from private and public sectors, along with representatives from PennDOT, SEPTA, and the state legislature are all consulted in the creation of the brochure. Once the projects for the brochure have been selected, a draft is sent to the state representatives of Chester County and the County Commissioners for their approval. The final document is then sent to the head of the State Transportation Commission, in an effort to create an awareness of our transportation needs at a higher level.
